Stockholm: gay-friendly destination for LGBTQ travel

As a travel destination, Stockholm is a great city, especially for the LGBT traveler. The local people call their city ‘beauty on water’ and it’s the capital of Sweden with delicious offerings at restaurants along with fantastic attractions. Most of the people we met who live there speak fluent English so there were no language barriers and we also found them to be quite friendly and welcoming. As a gay couple my boyfriend and I didn’t feel at all uncomfortable as we wandered around this historic and beautiful destination so it definitely qualifies as being very gay-friendly!

What we did during our trip, as shown in the video above, includes sleeping at the Pop House Hotel, having lunch at Hotel Diplomat, Skeppsholmen and Taverna Brillo, visiting the ABBA Museum, & Vasa Museum, touring Gamla Stan (the Old Town) & City Hall, and having dinner at MalarpaviljongenSodra Teatern.

Thanks to Stockholm LGBTVisit Stockholm, and Visit Sweden for helping to coordinate our trip and here are some of our photos from this city that I shared on Instagram:

I also did a Hotel Hangout video where I read comments from my old 2nd YouTube channel. I don’t upload to it anymore, but it’s still very popular with a certain crowd who especially like to see my friend who essentially co-hosted the videos with me. If you’re new to my content though you should subscribe to my main YouTube channel to see more fun videos from different destinations that are particularly good for LGBTQ travelers like us!
