EuroPride: gay-friendly event for LGBT travel

Stockholm is known as The Open City – famous for its nature, tech-scene, gender-fluid fashion, colorful LGBT community and of course the Nobel prize. The city really stand out internationally for its progressive values because Stockholm is truly a city for all. It’s also considered to be one of the world’s most beautiful cities as a result of its magnificent location, built on 14 islands. It’s a blend of old and new, where ultra-modern and medieval architecture coexist. All of this makes for a great spot for EuroPride to take place in this year!

As you can see in the video above, we got to spend a few days experience this incredible Pride celebration, which included a visit to Pride House, witnessing same-sex marriage ceremonies outside city hall, the Stockholm Pride parade, Stand Out Travel’s pool party, the Pride Park festival, and partying it up at the Clean Festival at Berns. More information on the events that took place during EuroPride can be found on their website!

We want to thank Stockholm LGBT, Visit Stockholm, and Visit Sweden for helping to coordinate our visit and here are some of our photos from our experience that I shared on Instagram:
