Tucson: gay-friendly destination for LGBTQ travel

Tucson is home to the University of Arizona and is located in Pima County, Arizona. With 350 days of sunshine a year, it is the place to vacation, especially if you’re Canadian! There are national parks and forests and desert areas for tons of outdoor recreational activities, but this city of half a million people also has a lot of history, art and culture. My parents are actually “snowbirds”, living in Tucson during the winter months, and part of the reason they chose this city in particular is because of the thriving art scene (my mother is an artist) and the many open-minded people who live there. It made for an obvious choice for my boyfriend and I to go to for a vacation, as you can see in the videos and photos in this post!

Speaking of which, the first one (above) includes the Casino Del Sol Resort & CasinoTohono Chul Botanical GardenSeis Kitchen Mexican RestaurantMt. Lemmon Scenic Byway, and PY Steakhouse.

The second episode (below) includes the Casas AdobesTucson Bike Tours5 Points Market & RestaurantHistoric Fourth Avenue, and Lovin’ Spoonfuls Vegan Restaurant.

Do you follow me on Instagram? If not, you should consider it because I share daily photos from our travels! Here are a few I shared from Tucson:

We also did a video from our first hotel talking about The TV shows and movies we’ve been watching and recommend! They cover reality, comedy, drama, sci-fi, documentary, crime/mystery, action/thriller… there’s something for every taste in there! Except for horror – neither of us like that genre. πŸ˜‰ I also did a video where I was asking my parents if I should marry my boyfriend so be sure to check those out too! Subscribe to my YouTube channel while you’re there for more fun videos from our travels designed for other gay couples to find awesome and safe places to visit too!
