I just got back from an amazing trip to the Puerto Vallarta area for Pride! I spent a week in that Mexican city and the Riviera Nayarit attending things like a drag derby, the pride parade, and pool parties, as well as going on fun boat rides, staying at great hotels, and eating incredible food! I love going to Pride festivals and this one certainly didn’t disappoint – I really liked the size of it… not too big like some of the major cities and yet not too small like some of the less gay-friendly destinations.
I also stayed a bit longer to check out some of the Riviera Nayarit region as well, including Nuevo Vallarta, Sayulita, and San Pancho.
The full vlog of my trip is above and here are some of the photos I shared on my Instagram account as well:
In Puerto Vallarta I stayed at the CasaMagna Marriott and went to Barcelona Tapas, the Pulpito Drag Derby, the Vallarta Gay Bar Hopping Tour, Blondies Loft & Slushbar, La Alhambra, Mr. Flamingo, Wet Dreams, Paco’s Ranch, Mike’s Fishing Charters & Tours, Glow Job, Sapphire Bistrot Local, the Vallarta Pride Parade, Cafe des Artistes, Villa Mercedes, and Mantamar Beach Club.
In the Riviera Nayarit I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta and went to Punta Mita Expeditions, Don Pedro’s, Posh Rock Spa, and the Frida & Pizzeto restaurants at the resort.
