Colorado Springs: gay-friendly destination for LGBTQ travel

Colorado Springs is the second largest city in the state of Colorado and the 49th largest in the United States. There are a number of interesting tourist attractions like Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Seven Falls, Manitou Springs, and more. So I went to spend a couple days there to check it out for myself! It wasn’t an overly gay-friendly destination, but it also wasn’t unfriendly… I found there to be a variety of different types of people and never felt uncomfortable. Everyone was probably to busy focusing on the natural beauty in the area than anything else!

I show some of that natural beauty in the video below, but in my first video above I showed the hotels and restaurants I experienced during my visit. It includes The Outlook LodgeGarden of the Gods CollectionBurrowing OwlMountain Shadows RestaurantThe Rocks Bar & LoungeAdam’s Mountain Cafe, and Sonterra Grill.

The other video focused on the attractions I saw and the activities I did while there, including the Pikes PeakGarden of the GodsManitou Cliff DwellingsCave of the Winds, and Ghost Town Museum.

My itinerary was put together with help from Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau and here are some of the photos I shared on Instagram from the area:

I also did a video from my first hotel to discuss whether or not we can ever get along based on a popular tweet I found on Twitter. We all live on the same planet and we’re all human beings, but sometimes it seems like our similarities end there! And also a video from my second hotel where I asked if I am too good for YouTube? because I’m not willing to go *there* for the views… so be sure to check those out too. Subscribe to my YouTube channel while you’re there for more fun videos from my travels (all with my boyfriend moving forward)!
